• Respect the user’s language preference (browser Accept-Language)
• List each language in that language (e.g. español, français, italiano, Deutsch, русский…)

• Make it easy for the user to “escape” if the wrong language is somehow selected

• Do not use geolocation (IP address)
• Do not list languages in the currently selected language
• Do not use country flags for languages
